CO2 Reduction Reaction In article 2203506, Lin Gu, Xiao Li, Hong Liu, Weijia Zhou, and co-workers aim to solve the problems of poor adsorption capacity weak *H supply in Cu-Sn alloys, by designing SnO2/Cu6Sn5/CuO nanocatalysts with superscalar phase boundaries. This strategy tandem electrocatalytic reduction reaction (CO2RR) multiple active sites reduced barrier process, resulting excellent CO2RR activity high selectivity formic acid.

Herein we report the electrocatalytic activity of boron-doped graphene for the reduction of CO2. Electrolysis takes place at low overpotentials leading exclusively to formate as the product (vis-à-vis benchmark Bi catalyst). Computational studies reveal mechanistic details of CO2 adsorption and subsequent conversion to formic acid/formate.
